Universe is the debut release by this hard rock band formed in London in 2009 by vocalist and guitarist Alessio Garavello, guitarist Michael Kew, bassist Andrea Lonardi and drummer Tim Hall.
They have plenty of experience behind them too with Garavello being ex-Power Quest and Arthemis and he has taken this power metal background into A New Tomorrow to produce a heavy and aggressive melodic rock band. They have used the years well since their formation by touring and honing their live skills so that their debut is delivered full of brutal power, amazing songs and a deftness that belies their full on approach. Indeed, the track Home is deliciously fragile and beautiful.
This is melodic rock with a modern twist and owes much to the sound of Alter Bridge and the Foo Fighters and should go some way in earning them friends across the Atlantic as well as in Europe. A New Tomorrow has arrived with a real statement of intent and their debut shows a band with a definite plan and they look like they are going to be with us for quite a while.
