Some of you may already know Billybio aka Billy Graziadei of Biohazard and Powerflo fame. To say that the singer and guitarist has been influential in the development of hardcore punk fused with Hip-Hop and industrial rock is to state the obvious as it is now almost impossible to imagine one without the other. He released the debut Billybio album in 2018 with Feed The Fire being the expected and rather extreme hardcore punk that he is so totally known for and we have had to wait until now for the second instalment under the Billybio banner.

Graziadei is another artist who wears his heart on his sleeve and he deserves praise and credit as a musician but also as a social and political commentator on these desperate times we live in. He has and continues to fight the good fight against the causes of injustice, racism and drug culture and has shown that one man can make a difference. As with the first album, Leaders And Liars contains a set of incendiary industrial metal songs that never stray far from Biohazard territory. Graziadei provides vocals and guitar and has brought in a quality team with Fred Aching Rios (Powerflo) on drums, Ra Diaz (Suicidal Tendencies) and Dan Manca on bass and lead guitars are provided by Dan Palmer (Death By Stereo/Zebrahead) and Robbie Davidson (The Exploited). Loud, heavy, proud and profane, Graziadei plays music on his terms and he tells stories that are incendiary so he most definitely needs a similar music to back it all up and this is one man with a hell of a social conscience and so many injustices to rail against.

If you are a fan of hardcore then this will delight with all of its glorious power and savagery. Even if not a fan of the genre you still have to admire his talent, commitment and drive as an artist who puts just about everything he has into every project he is involved with.
