Cavalcade is a 4-piece indie rock band from the East End of London comprising Connor Duggan on lead vocals and guitar, Jack Campbell on lead guitar and backing vocals, Tom Nunn on bass and Steve Norris on drums.
The band began in 2017 and it seems that their full debut album is rather imminent and there is enough punchy, guitar driven rock on this 4-track EP to suggest that they will have a solid career in rock and roll. They have the energy of the early punk rock bands that turned the world upside down in the ’70s combined with quality songs, ample skills and an upbeat and infectious delivery. Bands like The Kaiser Chiefs, Arctic Monkeys and Franz Ferdinand have shown that that eclectic indie rock approach has a real appeal and radio friendliness that aided their careers greatly and Cavalcade show here that they have exactly the same tools and skills at their disposal so one big or lucky break could break them big style.
Great vocals, powerful guitar and superb vocal harmonies make this an EP of note and I’m sure that this is one band that is going to go all the way so catch them while you can.
