Hardcore kicks and Occult Guitar Licks; Mvsic2Mvrder2 invite you to join the kvlt, with their new EP BlakGoD out now!
mvsic2mvrder2 was born out of the urge to do something off key. Coming from the Belgian darksynth and metal scene, tired of hearing the same sounds everywhere, m2m2 started combining black metal riffs and gabber/hardcore beats. This clash of two extremes became mvsic2mvrder2’s signature sound. This is the time for ritualist industrial metal to make its mark.
Haunting and intense, pulverising yet mesmerising – mvsic2mvrder2 have unveiled the four songs that encompass the release of his ‘BlakGoD’ EP, which is out now.
Kvltleader, Coffinwhispers, Fällsilent and BlöD are four tracks of ritual industrial metal that gives an insight into the mind of the Black God. Although wishing to remain somewhat anonymous, the Black God has pursued over guises within his career and has supported acts on tour such as While She Sleeps, Periphery, Perturbator, Gost, The Algorithm and more.
The BlakGod says this about BLöD: “BLöD is about the coming of Chernobog (Slavic – The Black God). Among Slavic people, there is a weird belief kept in their drinking fests and feasts. They at same time bless and curse under names of their Gods, respectively in the name of good One and evil One, saying that good things come from good God and evil comes from evil One. In their language they call evil God ”Chernobog”, or ”black God””
The fast guitars from the first singles Deximation and Mvrdermovth of M2M2 paved way for more groove oriented low tuned riffs as heard on the song FällSilent.
mvsic2mvrder2 says this about FallSilent:
“When you don’t speak your mind and let the silence fall, more than often loudmouthed people will take the stage and enforce their will. Sheep will follow and those who don’t care just undergo it. Sometimes it’s better to not stay silent, silence is consent. Take the stage yourself and stand up for what you believe.”
Still backed by the heavy sounding hardcore kicks, the result is a mix of head nodding choruses and fast gabber/hardcore verses spiced up with energising build-ups and heavy breakdowns. Lyrics are kept simple: one-liners right before the drop and repetitive slurs are his preferred lyrical style. Ritual/chant-like harmonised vocals give the already ominous sounding music an even more mesmerising vibe.
The BlakGoD takes you on a journey that gives an insight into his mind. What makes a cult? What does Chernobog stand for? Who is the BlakGoD? And why is this music to murder to, by mvsic2mvrder2?
