Currently preparing new songs for the follow-up to their well received 2021 self-titled debut album, Italian metallers ScreaMachine have today released a new EP entitled ‘Borderline’ via Frontiers Music Srl.
‘Borderline’ features four songs: a gloriously fast and loud title track, an acoustic version of previous single ‘The Metal Monster’ featuring Michele Guaitoli (Visions Of Atlantis, Temperance) on guest vocals, a new recording of ‘Mistress Of Disaster’ with new guitarist Edoardo Taddei, plus a live rendition of their cover of Judas Priest classic ‘Leather Rebel’.
Armed with molten metal riffs, the Rome-based quintet is primed to take the world by storm with a blazing sound that is inspired by titans such as Judas Priest, Metallica, Iced Earth, Savatage and Accept, while their debut delivered the goods in presenting an aggressive and traditional heavy metal sound blended with modern production and songwriting. It featured guest appearances from Steve Di Giorgio (Testament, Death, Iced Earth, Spirits Of Fire, etc), Herbie Langhans (Firewind, Avantasia, Sonic Haven), Simone Mularoni (DGM), Massimiliano Pagliuso (Novembre), Andrea Angelini (Stormlord) and Francesco Mattei (Noveria).
