UK prog-rockers Solstice have released their new studio album, Clann, on vinyl and CD variants. There is also an option being trialled on the gig merchandise desk to get a pin badge which includes the download code for the album, as an innovative way of giving something tangible with the download. The album follows up on the recent spate of activity by the revitalised band, which resulted in the acclaimed Sia and Light Up studio releases
The band have said this about the album: ‘Clann is a celebration of the sense of family within the band and among everyone who supports the music… something for which we’ll always be grateful. The inner gatefold is intended to represent this so we hope you’ll find the whole album a worthy tribute.’
The band are embarking on a UK tour in April to celebrate the release of the album. The dates are as follows:
April 5th – Oundle
April 9th – Southampton
April 10th – Cardiff
April 11th – Nottingham
April 12th – Huddersfield
April 13th – Sheffield
April 17th – Colchester
April 18th – Milton Keynes
April 20th – London
