This lot fascinate me! - two decades into their existence, Elder remain a complete anomaly in the underground rock scene - a rare band with the ability to absorb and shed influences from a myriad of genres without falling into pastiche or losing their own identity. Their new album Through Zero is a strong reaffirmation..
AVON – Black on Sunshine (Go Down Records)
AVON is essentially a heavy rock band from California, USA, although (slightly oddly) they're named after frontman James Childs' former home county in the UK! Musically they play psychedelic, raw, melodic rock with a distinctly desert tang to it. Avon released their debut album Mad Marco, on Spira Records in 2016 and completed four EU..

Jack Harlon and the Dead Crows are an Australian band with a uniquely eclectic style that explores a wide range of genres and incorporates elements of blues, stoner rock, lo-fi fuzz, spaghetti western scores, and doom metal among others! The band was initially formed in Melbourne in 2015, as a sort of side project for..

Known for their pure, gritty, and direct approach to rock, High On Wheels craft music that..

Their third album titled The..
Rubi Ate The Fig – Gilgamesh
“Led Zeppelin and Mahavishnu travelling through the desert, stopping to have tea with Grace Slick” - With a strapline like that, how can anyone not lend an ear to sound these guys out! Think of Zep's classic Kashmir - particularly the subsequent Plant / Page reworking on the album No Quarter - and you begin..
