Dead Man’s Whiskey have released a new single, Masquerade. The single is the first track to be taken from a forthcoming new studio album – due out later in 2023 – and is packed with the elements that have made Dead Man’s Whiskey one of the most exciting young British rock acts – driving riffs, infectious melodies and rammed full of energy. As with the album, the single was mastered by Richard Brindley and produced and engineered by Chris Clancy and Colin Richardson (Bullet For My Valentine, Trivium, Machine Head, Those Damn Crows and Massive Wagons).

Vocalist Nico Rogers says, ‘This song has been a bit of a journey for us. In its earliest form we’ve had this song for a couple of years, although it’s grown a lot.
It’s brimming with a kind of dissatisfied energy we all had while we wrote it, in a way I think a lot of people will feel too. It’s a rallying cry against what’s happened to music right now, the three ringed circus of algorithmically generated hits that keep turning up. We know how far we are from those perfect cookie cutter artists and this song is about that dichotomy. We don’t want to conform, we make the music we love. I think that shows in the sound too, not just on this track, but on the album as a whole. It’s heavier, darker. Like we got a little older, found a new gear, and now we’re going full throttle in it.’

A powerful live act, the band are hitting the road this spring on the Masquerade UK Tour in April and May 2023. Full tour dates below –

From London UK, Dead Man’s Whiskey are a hard rock five-piece, bringing heavy riffs, anthemic choruses and stadium sized power ballads. Since 2016 the boys have wasted no time in becoming one of the UK’s hottest up and coming bands, playing Download Festival in 2019, before selling out the iconic Camden Underworld, heading to Miami to play the legendary Kiss Kruise, as well as winning the chance to open Stonedead Festival in 2021.

In 2023 the band are gearing up for their highly anticipated second album, expertly produced by Chris Clancy and Colin Richardson, famed for their work with Machine Head, Trivium, Bullet for My Valentine, Those Damn Crows and Massive Wagons. In the run up to their new album, the boys will be hitting the road this spring on their Masquerade UK Tour, as well as making their debut at Steelhouse Festival in July.
